Antonio Bordallo:
The Passion of Urban Design and Architecture

A presentation of over 300 architectural and urban projects by Studio Antonio Bordallo (Madrid, Spain) will be on view at the

Angel Orensanz Foundation September 18, from 7:30 to 10:30 PM .

This display encompasses 24 years of an extreme creative approach to architecture, city planning, design and management worldwide.

Mr. Bordallo is presently active in Italy, Mexico, Japan, in the Middle East. Argentina and US, besides Spain with a vast array and imaginative projects s ustained by a powerful theoretical vision and theory.

Antonio Ortiz Bordallo is a leading Spanish architect who, besides his extensive practice worldwide, carries an intense teaching commitment at the Escuela Superior Tecnica de Arquitectura de Madrid (ETSAM) and other university institutions. He is as well a prolific author of books, articles, and position papers on his specialty. He is a member of several major Spanish and international economic and technical associations.

The presentation at the Orensanz Foundation will be first be followed by a reception, and will give a chance for his colleagues, the industry and the public in general to get further acquainted with Mr. Bordallo's oeuvre, his team, his publications and his many projects.

The Angel Orensanz Foundation was selected by Mr. Bordallo for first public presentation in the US because of the unique and ambitious architectural breath of this New York architectural gem. Built in 1849 by German architect Alexander Saeltzer, it reflects well the innovative design practiced in Berlin in the middle of the 19th century under the influence of Karl Friedrich Schinkel.
