The Angel Orensanz Foundation will celebrate with a reception this 4th of April, the participation of Women Together in the “Objectives of the Millennium” at the UN. This event will celebrate a group of women, among them Queen Rania of Jordan, Kerry Kennedy, Angelina Jolie, Hillary Clinton (USA), Christina Macaya, Consuelo Ciscar, Nelida Pinon, Karolina Kurkowa and Shakir. There will be celebrated as well fashion designers from different countries in various stages of development, such as Agustina Alcorta (Uruguay), Otto Pachay (Ecuador), Bibi Russell (Bangladesh), Nandita Basu (India), Giuliana Testino (Peru), Helen Bresbaart (Panama) Amelia Toro (Colombia), Cristina Pineda Covalin (Mexico), Risalva Telles (Brazil) and Ines & Inma Corroto (Marruecos).
In the event at the Angel Orensanz Foundation there will be musical interventions by stars such as Rafael Amargo. This event is part of the global, cultural policy of the Angel Orensanz Foundation that presents regularly events from cultures of all origins. Such is the yearly Vision Arts Festival for jazz musicians and music from the USA and many other countries; and the Angel Orensanz Foundation International Award to which for six consecutive years sculptors, painters and graphic designers have been sending their entries.
